Hiya, Brande here! Sharing one of my favourite topics to scrapbook - hiking!
For this layout, I reached for Stay Wild 12x12 Paper Collection. An amazing collection for outdoor adventure memory keeping! I was immediately drawn to the 2x2 cut apart sheet - so many fun little squares to play with. To show off as many as possible, I went with a grid design for this one using the Forest Walk 12x12 Paper Collection as my background (my go-to woodgrain).
I cut out all the squares on the pattern sheet, used a ruler and journalling pen to outline all the edges, and distressed the edges. I printed and cut the 4 photos in the same size square, giving them the same pen and distress treatment. From there I layered a couple of squares together, slightly off set and adhered with a little staple to create a grid on the page.
From there, I added some whatever down white acrylic paint splatters and then used the Nature Stroll Titles & Sentiments Die Cuts, Arrows Wood, and So Extra White 1.0 Supporting Sentiments for Word Dies to create a diagonal embellishment layer across the page.
